On Sunday K. Chandrasekhar Rao the Telangana Chief Minister announced allocation of one acre of land for construction of Kerala Bhavan at Mahendra Hills in the city. He said that the TS government will also allocate Rs.1 crore for the construction of the building.
While addressing a huge gathering of Keralites on the occasion of Kerala Festival 2015 CM made this announce. The festival was organized by the city-based Kerala Association.
TS CM thanked to Ommen Chandi the Chief Minister of Kerala for allotting five acres of land at Sabarimala for construction of a guest house for the benefit of Telangana pilgrims.
There are about 4 lakh Keralites in the twin cities and Hyderabad is a ‘mini India’ as people from all parts of the country have made the city their home said KCR. He praised on Keralites and says that wherever they emigrate, they adopt the local culture and mingle with people there. KCR promised allotment of house sites to Keralites and construct two-bedroom houses at governments cost.
KCR asked to the Keralites to convey any grievances to Priyanka Verghese who is the Officer-on-Special Duty (OSD) in the Chief Minister’s Office.
But the TDP leaders and opposition Congress leaders see this announcement as a game plan of the chief minister to woo the non Telangana voters in the city in view of the GHMC elections which would be held soon.
