108 Ambulance Services Restored by Telangana CM KCR

Telangana-calander108, a medical service emergency number initiated by the late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy of the united AP will soon be back on the roads.

CM K Chandrasekhara Rao has restored 108 ambulances, which were off the roads due to lack of funds.

GVK Group had took off the services from some parts of the state due to non-approval of funds by the state government. In a meeting with the minister and the officials of the health department, KCR announced to bring back the services.

KCR ordered the officials to ensure all 316 services in working and serving condition.

Deputy CM and health minister T Rajaiah said, “TS government has been releasing its share of funds to GVK on time since the formation of state on June 2 and the existing arrears pertain to the undivided state, when the then government delayed payment”.

He said that the GVK Group should bring in the notice of the state government if any issue erupts with the seervices.
