11 sentenced to death in WB

wb-11In a rare sentence, a court in West Bengal has ordered 11 convicts to gallows on Thursday. A TMC leader was also one among them. They were awarded death penalty in the sensational Aparna Beg murder case. A group of armed men stormed into the house of Aparna, a homemaker on November 13, 2014 in Ghughurgachi of Nadia district and lynched her to death. The cause of murder was a land issue. TMC local leader Lankeshwar Ghosh led the attack and was said to have rained bullets on Aparna. The Krishna Nagar district court has convicted all the accused to capital punishment.
