132 CCTVs for IT corridor : CP

cc2Cyberabad commissioner C V Anand has inaugurated four cc camera projects today. Once the project is completed the police could install high definition cameras at 1000 centres to cover a maximum area of 246 km in Cyberabad city for vigilance. These cameras will play a key role for safety of the city, said the police. In the IT corridor alone 132 CCs will be installed at a cost of Rs 5 crore along with community CCTVs and secret cameras in police stations. He also said that plans were afoot to see that all police stations would be simultaneously on alert system. On the eve of project launch he thanked the donors for the project.
