On Wednesday for conducting Republic Day celebrations at Police Parade Grounds on January 26 M Veera Brahmaiah who is a District Collector instructed the officials to make elaborate arrangements. At the Collectorate he convened a meeting with officials to review arrangements.
He informed officials to make arrangements in a big way in order to celebrate as it would be the first Republic Day after the formation of Telangana state. He stated that 20 tableaux should present various themes depicting implementation of welfare schemes during Republic Day celebrations. He told them to present cultural program with children to reflect Telangana traditions and culture as part of celebrations.
District Collector instructed RDO and Tahsildar to make seating arrangements and said Police Department, RDO, Tahsildar and Municipal Commissioner should take joint responsibility in beautification of Parade Grounds.
Joint Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed, DRDA project director Vijay Gopal, DRO T Veerabrahmaiah, ZP chief executive officer Ambaiah and other officials were present.
