Committed to its plan to promote art, culture and cinema in newly formed state of Telangana, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao on Tuesday announced in Assembly that the government is preparing to launch a 2,000-acre project of Cinema City in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The plan is being prepared, and the construction would begin soon, announced KCR. He also claimed that the proposed Cinema City would be constructed in the lines of Hollywood.
KCR was answering to a question raised by Rasamai Balakishan during the question hour in the State Legislative Assembly.
KCR government has announced several mega projects in the last five months of its rule. However, it is yet not successful in gaining confidence of people on their announcements.
