20,000 Workers to Clear Uprooted Trees from Roads in Visakhapatnam

Untitled-5The trees that were uprooted by the cyclone ‘Hudhud’ to block the roads have not yet been cleared completely, informed the Municipal Administration Minister of Andhra Pradesh P Narayana.

“Drinking water facility to the citizens is restored now. We are now supplying 25 percent additional drinking water to the citizens and it will be 50 percent from Sunday. We are also supplying drinking water to industries”, said Narayana to the media persons in Visakhapatnam today.

“About 10,000 workers are plunged into action to clear the uprooted trees on roads. Another 10,000 workers will also be employed for the task. The process of removing trees will be completed within the next two days”, informed the minister.

Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu, CM, has announced that the 100% poles will be electrified by Sunday.
