280 ITIs in Telangana Would Be Upgraded By The Centre

v6-tgThe Centre has proposed to upgrade 280 Industrial Training Institutes or ITIs with modern tools and machinery. The Centre also proposed to create ‘Ideal ITIs’ at two locations in Hyderabad. The lone face from Telangana in team-Modi and Union Minister of State in Labour and Employment Ministry Bandaru Dattatreya announced on Thursday.Mr. Dattatreya also announced that the ministry would enact a complete ban on child labour in all sectors. The legislation is likely to be adopted in the coming winter session of the parliament.He also stated that the Centre will take up the concept of bridge schools across the various places in the country for the rehabilitation of the affected child labour.Telangana Labour Minister N Narsimha Reddy said that Mr. Dattatreya promised the assistance from the Centre to the state’s plan to own private lands on which ESIC (Emloyees State Insurance Corporation) centres were located.
