2b Euros German aid for India

unnamedPrime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed in New Delhi for over three hours covering various aspects. India and Germany signed agreements for furthering cooperation in
various fields.  India-Germany agreed on climate and renewable alliance with an agenda to combat climate change. Modi valued Germany’s assistance of over one billion Euros for Green Energy Corridor and over a billion Euros for solar projects. They intend to
deepen research cooperation in clean and renewable energy, energy efficiency, contain temperature rise. Modi said 1600 German companies in India will be strong partners in creating a global work force in India. German cooperation and assistance in smart cities, clean Ganga and waste management have taken a concrete shape. They will continue
dialogue in Bengaluru tomorrow.
