Hyderabad would soon get four more expressways similar to PVNR Express Highway that has made travelling easy to airport from the city. The four express highways would connect the Outer Ring Road to the several parts of the city reducing traffic congestion.
K Chandrasekhara Rao held a review meeting with the officials of Roads and Building Department on Thursday, in which he revealed the plan to connect Outer Ring Road to Jubilee Bus Stand, Paradise Chowrastha, Uppal and L B Nagar to ensure passengers travelling from Karimnagar, Medak/Nizamabad, Warangal and Nalgonda.
CM has also announced to release Rs. 1,000 Crore to each district to improve the roads in the state. He said, “Telangana got a raw deal in this sector and it is time things are set in place. Construction of new roads, repairs and road-widening works would be taken on war-footing basis”.
A sub-committee has been formed to charge up the proceedings in this regard. The committee is headed by Deputy Chief Minsiter T Rajaiah.
