6 People Died in AP, Odisha: Hudhud

OdishaAfter the cyclone Hudhud hit Visakhapatnam the hardest, it is now moving inland and Chhattisgarh is geared up to deal with fierce weather conditions.

In Bastar region of Chhattisgarh, educational institutions have been ordered to be closed for today.

After cyclone Hudhud made landfall in AP yesterday, the southern part of Chhattisgarh has been experiencing heavy rains and strong winds. In spite of this harsh weather conditions there is no serious damage. People have been advised to stay indoors.

The state level sports meet which was to be held tomorrow in Chhattisgarh, has been postponed due to the weather conditions.

Six people died yesterday, when the cyclone hit the coastal districts of AP and Odisha.

About 250,000 in four districts of AP and 156,000 in nine districts of Odisha were evacuated to relief camps.

The Railways cancelled 58 trains and diverted 50 trains in Vizag route.
