’80 % denied justice’

unnamed (1)Nearly 80 percent of the Indians were denied justice due to lengthy process in the courts and legislatures also enacted laws without taking the judiciary into confidence, said veteran advocate of apex
court Prashant Bhushan. He made clear that corrupt leaders were utilizing the existing laws to their advantage and advocated a change in the judicial system, otherwise it will collapse as the Opposition
and government joined hands whenever the issue of corruption rose. Speaking at a function on ‘judicial reforms’ he stressed the need to take justice to the doorstep of the common man and called for reforms in the British laws to suit the current situation acquired in India.
