99% of the people hails Mother India says Amit Shah

amitIn the mdist of raging controversies on chanting the “Bharath Matha Ki Jai” slogan, BJP chief Amit Shah today claimed that only 1% of the people living in India do not chant the slogan while 99 % of the people are willing to hail Mother India.
Speaking at India Today conclave, Shah justified the government’s action on the JNU row, insisting that some people deciding to hold a programme to commemorate Afzal Guru’s death anniversary in itself is “anti-national”.
In his hour long interaction  the BJP chief expressed confidence that BJP will form a government in Assam but reacted cautiously about its prospects in other states, saying the party will work to increase its influence and play a role in government formation in these states. Replying to questions on the issue of “Bharath Matha Ki Jai” slogan Shah said that this particular slogan was hailed by many Indians even the RSS and BJP came into picture
