Age limit increased to 40years For TS Govt‘s Recruitment Exams

Age-limit-increased-to-40yeFor the TS Government recruitment exams the maximum age limit is likely to be raised to 40years. At present, the current maximum age limit is 34years, which was fixed before bifurcation. Orders to this effect are expected by this month end.

The govt wants to compensate job aspirants by increasing the age limit and in previous they failed to conduct recruitment exams regularly. Since 2009 and had lost job opportunities due to it for that many students were actively involved in the Telangana agitation.

Due to age bar lakhs of students had missed the opportunity to appear for these exams since 2009 due to political uncertainty over Telangana state.

In June 2013, though former CM N. Kiran Kumar Reddy had increased the age limit by two years, from 34 to 36 years, it could not be implemented as no exams were conducted due to the bifurcation issue.
