Agreements Signed With UAE

ABUDABIThe Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is moving strategically in respect of relations with UAE as it is a close ally to Pakistan, is trying to strengthen India’s bilateral links with that country. India entered into seven agreements with UAE as Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited Delhi along with a delegation of hundred ministers and officials on Thursday. Earlier the Prince met the President Pranab Mukherjee and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The External Affairs minister Ms. Sushma Swaraj also attended the meeting. Later they paid tributes to Gandhiji at the Bapu ghat. The UAE is likely to invest a huge amount in Indian companies from its Abudabi Wealth Fund. Both the countries targeted to increase the bilateral trade to 60 percent more in five years, which is 59 billion dollars at present. India promised to cooperate with UAE’s Mars Orbitor Mission and both the countries resolved to fight terrorism unitedly.
