Hyderabad: The growing popularity of the AIMIM chief Assaduddin Owaisi is conceived as a national threat or his reputation for hate speech has been painted out of proportion.
The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief has refused permission to hold a rally in Allahabad on march 15. Supporters of AIMIM have threatened to move the Allahabad High Court against the state government’s decision.
“The SP government is setting up hurdles and wants to prevent the AIMIM from holding its democratic activities in UP,” said Shaukat Ali and state level AIMIM leader. Last month, Assaduddin was denied entry into Bengaluru. Earlier, he was barred from entering Nanded and Aurangabad in Maharashtra
