India’s largest airline, Air India is offering tickets for Rs. 100 as it celebrates the ‘Air India Day’ on August 27.
The airline has decided to celebrate ‘Air India Day’ as a mark of its merger with Indian Airlines, on August 27, 2007.
“This is the first time the airline will be celebrating the ‘Air India Day’. A function will be held to celebrate the day and also to award meritorious employees of the airline,” said an official spokesperson.
On this occasion, the flag carrier would launch ‘Air India Offer’, a scheme that offers tickets for Rs 100 apart from all applicable taxes.
The spokesperson also informed that the tickets will be sold only on the website of Air India from August 27 to 31 for travel during the period of August 27 to September 30 only.
