Air India releases students

airindiaThe 11 students who had to return from Silicon and North Western Technical Universities in US were detained by the Air India officials at the Shamsabad airport till Monday midnight. The officials said that the students would be freed only on payment of 1200 dollars towards flight charges. At last the students were freed due to pressure from parents and higher officials. Earlier the students had to board back the flight as they could not give satisfactory answers to the questions by the US immigration officials. But both the universities clarified that the admission of the students was not blocked but their return was caused due to communication gap between the Immigration officials and the students.
