All out for zero

alloutIts really rarest and most stunning. A cricket team was bowled out for zero in just 20 balls. Of course, this has happened in a six-a-side match. But even then, it is a big news and happened after a gap of 100 years!

No batsman from Bapchild Cricket Club was able to get off the mark against Christ Church University in Canterbury in UK.

This rare result came during the Kent regional finals of the ECB’s national six-a-side championship when the Bapchild team failed to trouble the scorers chasing Canterbury’s Christ Church University team’s 120.

It took Christ Church just 20 balls to dismiss Josh Hunt, Dan Pomfrett, James Sutton, Chris Hogg, Owen Harrison and James Weller with a zero against each of those names.

But it wasn’t the first time that it happened. In 1913, Somerset club Langport was also bowled out without scoring.
