An avalanche kills about ten Sherpas at Mount Everest

Six sherpas are confirmed to have died, with nine more missing in an avalanche strike at the Mount Everest in the route that is generally used by climbers. The incident occurred this morning at Camp site 2 about 6,400 meters height. The Nepalee guides were preparing ropes to be used by climbers when the ice wave swept them.
