The state government of Andhra Pradesh has announced to adopt the famous Law College of Andhra Pradesh. Education minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said on Sunday that the Law College would soon be developed as a ‘Model Campus’.
“We will conduct alumni meeting of the college every year”, said Mr. Rao. He also said that the university got the donations of about Rs. 3 Crore after Hudhud cyclone hit the city.
“State government will conduct celebrations on October 12 every year on the occasion of conquering Hudhud cyclone”, said Mr. Rao.
The Vice Chancellor of Andhra University GSN Raj said on the occasion, “All the basic amenities to the students were already provided and the classes will be conducted from Monday. I am requesting the old students of the university to help the university at the critical moment”.
Mr. Raju also informed that about 90 per cent of the electricity was resumed in the campus till now.
