As the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh are gripped under the fear of cyclone ‘Hudhud’, the administration is busy in making arrangements to evacuate the low-lying areas in the region to safeguard human life as a precaution.
The people from the coastal places are being taken to safer places to minimize damages.
An order was passed to all the collectors to be watchful and monitor the situation and precautionary attempts in each area under threat.
The cyclone is expected to hit Vizag coast in the afternoon of October 12.
Under the effect of the cyclone, heavy rains are expected in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states in the next few days.
Srikakulam, Vishakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and East Godavari Districts are at the high risk.
