Army requested to provide Golconda Maps

golkindaHyderabad collector Mukesh Kumar Meena is taking initiative to ascertain the facts about the ownership of 51-acre land near Golconda Fort.

The district collector of Hyderabad, held a meeting with president cantonment board (PCB) Brig Sunil S Bodhe, designated defence estate officer and Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) chief executive officer, Sujatha Gupta and central commandant, Artillery Centre, Golconda, Brig A K Sasman.

“I have asked the defence authorities to submit survey maps as they are claiming the ownership of the land. They said the survey maps were in the court and need two days to bring them. After submitting the survey reports, a joint survey will be conducted at the site and a final report will be submitted to the government” Meena said.

While speaking about the flag hoisting Meena said that the government has sent an official communique to the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) seeking permission for organizing the Independence Day celebrations at Golconda Fort.

As per the decision of the authorities the spot for the hoisting of the national flag mentioned as Rani Mahal on the premises of the Fort.
