Arogya Sri staff begin stir

web imageArogya Sri outsourcing employees began their strike as they did not receive any response from the government in the past. They are firm on continuing their stir till their just demands are met. Today they have decided to hand over appeal letters to legislators of all constituencies and register their protest. Demanding a minimum pay of Rs 15,000, job security, maternity leave, they demonstrated at Indira Park and Opposition leaders announced solidarity with them demanding permanent jobs for them. State-wide Arogya Sri services in the hospitals came to a grinding halt and authorities said its impact will be intensified if the stir continues. Employees issued an ultimatum that they would picket the cm’s camp office and Arogya Sri trust offices.
