Azad-Venkaiah spar takes heat to new level

azad-venkaiahOpposition and ruling party have entered into an ugly spat in Rajya Sabha over note ban and little was heard in the din of the debate this afternoon. Ghulam Nabi Azad, the leader of the Opposition has termed the deaths due to Centre’s move have been higher than that of Uri attack, triggering wave of protests from ruling benches. “Your remark will help terrorists and Pakistan. The remarks shall be expunged” Venkaiah demanded at the top of his voice. But the Congress members refused to budge and the Deputy Speaker Kurien has adjourned the House till tomorrow.
Later, most of the ministers have met and decided to seek apology from Mr Azad tomorrow and also turn tables on the opposition.
