Ban on Telugu in TN schools

img_22151Tamilnadu government has abolished Telugu language in the 10th class examination while making it mandatory for students to write in Tamil only. In 2006 itself a GO was issued making Tamil as compulsory for students in primary schools. In the current situation Jaya government has further made it conditional for students to write the tenth class examination in Tamil only which affects over 5,000 Telugu students in schools. It is evident that Telugu stands banned in Tamilnadu.
