Bangalore police cancelled MIM meeting

Untitled-1Hyderabad: The Bangalore police have cancelled the permission granted to the MIM hold a public meeting in Chota Maidan on Feb 8.

On January 16 the local organiser had secured permission from the commercial street police station for the meeting which was to be addressed by MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi. The organizers received a cancellation letter on Friday.

The MIM president alleged that the police had cancelled permission stating that they were unable to provide security for the meeting as two or three other program have been scheduled on the same day. He accused the ruling congress in Karnataka for cancelling permission in the eleventh hour by citing “silly reasons”.

The overwhelming response to the MIM in Maharashtra, the Karnataka Congress leaders had developed cold feet.
