Bank Employees Strike hit the Banking Services

bankIn Warangal district, the bank employees took out a rally from headquarters- Kakatiya Degree College via Public Gardens, Ambedkar Chowrastha and Nakkalagutta to reach the Collectorate raised slogans by holding placards against the ‘indifferent attitude’ of Indian Banks Association (IBA) on Tuesday. As they were responsible for settling wages, demanding immediate pay revision and common pension scheme for all employees.

The protest was staged as part of the phased zonal strike of southern region-Telangana, A.P, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Union Territories of Lakshadweep and Puducherry- it was a hit strike for one day with 4000 employees affiliated to unions like AIBOA, AIBEA, AIBOC, NOBW, NCBE, NOBO and others abstained from work.
