beggar-650_020115041635Maharashtra government has decided to end illegal transport of poor kids. Incidents came to its notice that poor children were being used to do drugs business under clandestine supervision by some people. The government has decided to conduct DNA test for every begging woman with a kid in arms in an attempt to keep the begging in check. Government kept a close watch on them and took a decision to this effect following rumours that children were being transported illegally. The Maharashtra government however assured to provide special facilities to send their children to school if they are found to be genuine beggars.

Kids’ illegal transport has become a business for some people. They buy poor kids and utilise their services for drugs business. In some cases financial problems drove poor to take up this business. Begging is a common sight these days. Bus stops, railway stations, and at places where the crowds are more, begging became quite common. Is it easy to make money this way? Women with children in the arms were seen to be opting for this profession. It has become a menace. On the whole government became serious over the issue.
