Celebrated director SS Rajamouli, whose magnum opus “Bahubali-The beginning” has created a record of sorts, has stated that a larger and highly-interesting story is there behind Kattappa’s stabbing of king Amarendra Bahubali. ‘It’s not just a single-liner episode. The story is a bigger one and you will see’ he told media.
The first part ended with a shadowy presentation of Kattappa, the chief of forces and a strong admirer of Bahubali, killing the king by stabbing in the back. In fact, it was Kattappa who groomed Amarendra like a son and stated that he is a slave to the king all through his life. This finishing shot has created a lot of enthusiasm and discussion and that’s what Rajamouli exactly wanted.
‘Don’t jump to conclusions. The story has some more twists and turns’ Rajamouli said.
Shooting of second part- “Bahubali the conclusion” is going on and part of the scenes were shot in Kerala recently. The movie is expected to hit the screens some time between May- September this year.
