Congress and BJP have been in consultation since yesterday over the T Bill impasse in Rajyasabha. The PM has met key BJP leaders several times. Venkayya Naidu and Arun Jaitley have come up with several demands which satisfy the Seemandhra public and pave way for cooperation from BJP on the bill in next stages. As Congress is not ready to send the bill back to Lok Sabha over any official amendments, it has agreed to an assurance statement from PM himself, as per sources. The PM is supposed to announce the measures any time now. The bill is sure to come up again any time after 2 pm in the Upper House to be introduced by Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde.
