BJP wants to be major force in Telangana state government in 2019. So it’s taking relative steps and strategies to make the party as main political force in the state. Amit Shah, who held a series of meetings with the unit president G. Kishan Reddy, core committee members and other officials by infusing the much needed booster dose to them, for the ambitious 10 crore party membership target in the country and 35 lakh in state.
He termed the allegation that the centre is towards as baseless. “I strongly condemn it. The BJP treats all states equally”, he said to a question. And he left the local party and meet with alliance of TD. Mr. Shah said “Our online membership target is 10 crore in the country and 35 lakh in Telangana. In this connection I am travelling all over the country including Telangana”.
From Jan 12 to march 31 they are going to hold an online and mobile membership drive in state. Mr. Shah discussed the plans going to be implemented in the state. And asked reasons for the party failings to take off in Telangana, he replied, “I don’t think negative .We have chalked out an action plan to strengthen the party. I cannot reveal this at a press conference, you will see in the next four years .The BJP will be the main political force in Telangana”. Officials need to mould public opinion in Telangana in its favor.
He said “The BJP will bring pressure on the TRS government to implement its electoral promises. We are seeing some forces trying to whip up communal passions. We should face it and strive for development of Telangana”.
