Blaze in California

unnamed (2)A state of emergency was declared by the Governor Jerry Brown of California after wildfires spread to urban area rendering about 23,000 people homeless in the north. More than 1,300 people fled from homes north of San Francisco as fires destroyed homes. Fire-fighters were also injured and they were admitted to the hospital. The blaze was spreading after devastating apartments. Nearly 1,000 structures, barns and sheds, were burnt down. Fires across northern California are being blamed on high temperatures and years of drought. In Amador and Calaveras counties 4,000 fire fighters were trying to extinguish the fire which broke out on Wednesday. The blaze has so far destroyed around 65,000 acres.
