Blind cricket control board?

Blind-2This is the story of a blind cricketer, who lifted India to fame while achieving many records but today he is living incognito. Yes, this is Balaji Damodar, who played 125 matches with 3,125 runs claiming 150 wickets, was honoured by the then President K R Narayanan for his outstanding record. Balaji took India to semis in 1998 blind cricket world cup match. He played eight international matches and achieved a record of taking maximum wickets.  But today he is a buffalo man in an acre he inherited to support his family. His monthly income is Rs 3000. His native village is Piparna in Aaravali district, Gujarat – the home State of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  When he did not get due recognition, what is the fate of others, asked cricket fans. Now the government must recognize his services, fans said.
