The Swamy has the rural deities Golla Kethamma on his right and Balija Medamma on the left. The jathara is celebrated with pomp and devotion on every Sankranti. Huge canopies were arranged in front of the temple for the devotees to take rest. The temple got its name from the Kakatiya king Aiyanna, who built it. It being one of the famous Shaivaite pilgrim centres, devetees in large numbers go over here and have darshan of Lord Siva, which is a while Lingam, a rare one. Bonalu are also offered here during the jathara. The jathara which begins on Sankranti will end on the Ugadi. Though the Marneni dynasty of Ainavolu village managed the temple affairs from the Kakatiya era, the endowments department took it over in 1969. But, still the persons of Marneni dynasty inaugurate the utsvams.
