Bright Future for Left Parties:Former CPI legislator

CPI-legislatorOn Thursday Kunamneni Sambasiva the former CPI legislator said K Chandrashekar Rao the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president, with his ‘dictatorial’ rule, was distancing himself from the people, while the Congress, Telugu Desam Party and the YSR Congress Party were on ‘ventilator’ and on the verge of collapse.
While speaking to the media person he accused the BJP, TRS and the TDP of shirking their responsibilities towards the welfare of the people and supporting corporate business houses.  As the governments in these States failed to work for the welfare of the people, so the Left parties had a bright future in this two Telugu-speaking States he predicted.
Rao said referring to movements such as land for poor,  “Despite setbacks in the general elections, the Communist parties are in the forefront of agitation against the rulers for their ‘anti-people’ policies”. Efforts were on to bring Left parties under one roof to exert pressure on the government. It is done to take up welfare-oriented programmes that help deprived sections in society he said. He added, this would be discussed in the ensuing State conference of CPI to be held from March 7.   Bagam Hemanth Rao the CPI district secretary, Sk Johny Miya and Potu Prasad the district secretariat member were present.
