CBI bid to repatriate Lalith

LALIT_INTERNET_1437211eCentre has decided for repatriation of former IPL chief Lalith Modi from London and the government has already contacted the Interpol and top brass concerned in that country, according to sources. Several cases of money laundering were booked against him in the IPL scam and in the light of that he fled to London in 2012. The CBI is gearing up to get him back to India. Lalith’s arrest is likely to lead to discovery of more skeletons in the cupboard. Central minister Sushma Swaraj is believed to have helped him and Opposition parties in the bygone monsoon session stalled the regular proceedings in the Parliament throwing rules to the wind. In the wake of Opposition stir the Centre had already decided for issue of Red Corner notice to Lalith.
