Ceasefire extension agreed to by Israel, Hamas yet to accept

The ceasefire started Tuesday morning in the Gaza – Israel strife has been respected by both sides for over 72 hours by now. Israel has indicated that it is willing to extend the peace beyond Friday, but Hamas has said that the agreement is not accepted yet. Israel has revealed that over 27,000 troupes have been sent home, though more than 55 thousand force is still combat ready indicating that Israel is finally ready to scale down the destruction it has caused in Gaza so far. During the truce, Gaza has cleared the dead bodies, debris and declared the number of deaths to be 1886 civilians. Western forces, including US indicated full support for Israeli backed extended truce offers.
