Central Home Secretary Anil Goswami has reached Hyderabad in a bid to speedup the state division process. As the Telangana state comes into existence on June 2nd, the division of assets, employees and other liabilities have to be finalized by the end of April, as per schedules.
The Chief Secretary of the state was supposed to be assisted by two central advisories, but the advisories have not been sent bu the central government. The CS had recently asked for the status on the issue as the heavy work needs coordination between several departments. Anil Goswami would bring the records of state division processes of year 2000’s Chattis Garh, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand as a guide. Mr. Goswami will have important meetings with all department secretaries, IAS, IPS officers, the Governor and several other institutional heads to monitor the division process.
The non cooperation of some IAS, IPS officers, pending declarations of employees about their nativity, preferences and several other contentious issues will also be addressed in these meetings, sources say.
