Centre Would Move Quickly to Establish a Separate High Court

Minister-D-V-Sadananda-GowdThe union Minister of Law and Justice D V Sadananda Gowda said the centre would move quickly to establish a separate high court. The centre is certainly committed to set up a high court to the state of Telangana without any delay if we get proper infrastructure for that. At present, the Hyderabad high court covers the jurisdiction of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The AP High Court will continue for three years here, said Gowda, who was here to attend a party program in support of a candidate in Legislative Council elections. He said Telangana High Court would come up at another place in the city.
The Centre is going to support the development of Telangana in all areas, and establishment of High Court for Telangana is the commitment by our government.
Telangana advocates have been holding protests and boycotting courts for the past several days demanding bifurcation of the AP High Court for creation of a separate one for the newly-carved state
