Chinese President Jinping spoke of regional economic corridor with Ansari

The Chinese President Xi Jinping is reported to have proposed a regional economic corridor running through China, Bangladesh, Myanmar and India to boost regional development, as per Chinese official media agency Xinhua. Indian Vice President Hamid Ansari returned to New Delhi last night after a five day trip to China. He was given a rare honor of meeting all top leadership of China during the trip. China hopes that this visit would pave way for next level talks with PM Modi during the BRICS meeting to take place later this month in Brazil. The Chinese leadership has also been invited to visit India later this year.
