Clampdown at HCU

hcuKeeping in view of the tense situation, the Hyderabad central university authorities have announced that there will be no classes till Saturday. Meanwhile, more than 3000 students in the varsity hostels have been suffering from lack of food and water as the non-teaching staff went on strike protesting against the attacks on teaching staff. Some of the students tried to cook food on the corridors and roads but police stopped them from doing so.
A clampdown has been imposed in the varsity as hundreds of policemen have been positioned inside the premises and hostels.
