TDP MP in Rajyasabha CM Ramesh has done it again. In a brazen display of uncouthness, shameless display of hatred towards Telangana and utter disrespect towards Parliamentary democracy, the businessman MP has resorted to almost beating up the Secretary General of Rajya sabha, Sri Shamsher Sharif. The incident happened around 12 noon when the official was reporting the receipt of Telangana bill papers from Lok Sabha. Ramesh and the likes of Modugula who have already made a mockery of Parliamentary systems last week (on the 11th) by pulling out mikes, by using mikes as knives against fellow members, are proving the suspension of Seemandhra MPs an absolute justified act.
CM Ramesh so violently pulled out papers from Secretary General’s hands that he was clearly hurt by the incident. it was more of an assault than registering displeasure over parliamentary activity on Telangana. Even the Deputy Chariman, Sri Kurien, who was sitting in the Chair displayed his utter displeasure over Ramesh’s behavior, but Mr. Ramesh was adamant and unashamed of his act, and “తప్పేమిటి…” he was heard saying. He was pushing out a fellow lady MP Gundu Sudharani in the process.
This act now puts a big question over TDP’s policy of nominating wealthy businessmen to the upper house, in utter disregard of the respect and stature of national level politics and the “Telugu representation” at the highest level.
