Committed to farm loan waiver, housing schemes: CM KCR at Armoor


Assurance given to Armoor public over giving fresh drinking water will be fulfilled within a year, announced CM KCR in the public meeting organized after laying foundation for the 114 crores project this morning. He will personally come after a year to turn the taps and let the water rush in Armoor homes, assured the CM. He has also announced the sanction of a hundred bed hospital to Armoor. Gutpa lift irrigation project will be extended to cover may other nearby villages, he announced. He will work towards getting a sub magistrate level court to be established at Armoor, he said.

He has announced sanctioning of 11.5 crores to compensate the Red Jowar cultivators. Unlike the earlier governments which limited themselves to giving big assurances, he will make sure that the local representatives like MP, MLA to personally come and deliver cheques to the farmers, he declared.

KCR has also reiterated his assurance on the weaker section housing scheme that had been announced. Previous housing schemes have given place to huge corruption, he is working on ensuring a transparent, corruption free implementation of the scheme, he said. He is prepared to implement the program even at a cost of 3-4 lakhs per house, he assured.

With regard to the farm loan waiver scheme, the objections being raised by the RBI will not stop him from implementing the scheme, he reaffirmed. The pensions to disabled, widows and the elderly will be distributed between Dasara and Deepavali, revealed the CM. He has also spoken about several other schemes he has announced earlier and gave full assurance that all will be implemented in good time.
