The pcc leadership in Telangana has plans to launch protest demonstrations through public meetings and road shows against the ruling party in parallel to the official celebrations in the TS. This is the main agenda of the PCC leadership even while taking part in the TS formation day celebrations. The State Congress leaders however decided to celebrate the TS formation day on a grand-scale for two days. TS Congress chief Uttamkumar “Reddy, CLP leader Jana Reddy along with others at a brain storming session at Gandhi bhavan planned to fly party flags as part of celebrations in all villages onJune 2.
They came to a conclusion that it was a good occasion to highlight that it was Congress party which had introduced the bill in the Parliament that paved the way for State bifurcation. They decided to give wide publicity that it was Sonia Gandhi who was responsible for TS formation. In the same vein they thought it fit to thank her in this context. The pcc took a decision to expose the failures of State and Central governments rule for the last one year. On June 3, it was decided to hold a meeting of intellectuals and elicit the opinion of Chief Minister K Chandrasekar Rao on his rule. The party has resolved to inform people specifically that both the State and Central governments did not keep up their poll promises.
