Congress blasts TRS govt over irrigation deals, says it’s black day

Dasoju-SravanComing down heavily on TRS over its campaign that the irrigation deals are a boon to the state, the Opposition congress party has termed them as a bane and said-‘it is a black day and not a golden-lettered day, as proclaimed by the chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao”
In different media conferences, congress leaders have lambasted the publicity blitz by KCR government as ‘false and far from reality’.
“The government has agreed to the demand of Maharashtra that the height of Pranahita barrage should be reduced to 148 metres from 152 metres. This will turn Telangana into a desert . In fact, Maharashtra agreed to retain at 152 ft during Kiran Kumar Reddy regime” Shabbir Ali, Dasoju Sravan and P Sudarshan Reddy said.
In another media meet, former legislators- D Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar and T Jeevan Reddy have stated that the future of Telangana was totally destroyed with the deals.
