Council: Bhutan says yes

unnamed (1)Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Prime Minister of Bhutan Tshering Tobgay in New York City and the latter, among others, reiterated Bhutan’s support for India’s permanent membership of the United
Nations Security Council.  He described as a “visionary” statement at the United Nations Summit for the adoption of Post-2015 Development Agenda. Modi also met President, Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Lofven, President of Cyprus  Nicos Anastasiades and held discussions on varied topics including UN strategy.
