CPI Veteran Burdan Breathes His Last

bardhan-300x174The CPI veteran leader Ardendu Bhushan Bardan popularly known as A.B. Burdan (92) breathed his last on Surnday. He was ailing with old age related diseases for sometime. He was admitted into G.B. Panth hospital on December 7. He was born September 24, 1924 at Barisal, Bengal. He became a communist labour leader in 1957. He contested the Assembly polls of Maharashtra as an independent candidate and won. He was general secretary of the party from 1996-2012. Many political leaders condoled his death.
