CSAT row: Uproar continues in Parliament

rajyashabaCivil services exams row continued as a hot topic in Parliament. As government stated that English test will not be included for grades, students were agitating by opposing this move of the Govt.

Regarding this A notice has been given for the suspension of the Question Hour in Lok Sabha over the deadlock. The opposition is maintaining that the Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT) must be scrapped altogether. Members of the opposition, however, crowded around the Chair and shouted slogans.

Apart from the proposal on English language skills, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office Jitendra Singh said in the Lok Sabha that all the aspirants who appeared for the Civil Services Examination from 2011 would get one more more attempt in 2015.

On the other side protests were continuing all around the nation to postpone the Civil Services Preliminary Examination is scheduled for August 24. But there are no signs from the center for the postponement of the exam, seemed it will be conducted as per the schedule. Majority of the aspirants not at all satisfied  with the changes made in the CSAT exam format. The seemed disappointed while about the move of the govt.

As per the saying of the protesting aspirants the paper puts those who have had Hindi or regional languages as the medium of instruction at a disadvantage.
