The Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama has said in America that homo sexuality should be looked at as a conscious choice of adults and should not be shunned for religious reasons. The monk was speaking at an interview for the famous talk show host Larry King.
“If two people — a couple — really feel that way is more practical, more sort of satisfaction, both sides fully agree, then okay,” Dalai has said that a person has to check for the views of his religion on the issue. If he is an agnostic, not a conscious follower of any religion, then the choice is his to make, he said. “But then for a non-believer, that is up to them. So there are different forms of sex — so long (as it is) safe, okay, and (if both people) fully agree, okay,” was what he said.
Dalai Lama has earlier expressed views opposing homosexual relations as unnatural.
